Our Patriots were able to compete against some of the top teams in the state on Monday during the Scott Underwood Invitational for Track and Field.
Overall, we had a good day. Our boys as a team ended up 11th out of 44 teams we were told showed up for the meet. Our girls ended up tied for 27th. Our team was lead by TJ Salmen earning first place in the 300M hurdles and third place in the 110M hurdles. Landon Puffer got 25th and Emmerie Arthurs got 38th in the 100M dash. Landon Puffer got 24th in the 200M dash. Avery Miles earned 10th in the 400M dash; Payton Chasing Hawk earned 23rd and Katelyn Schroeder earned 37th. Avery Miles earned 5th place in the 800M. Josiah Wiebe earned 21 in the 3200M and 22nd in the 110M hurdles. Cambree Hoekman earned 33rd in the 100M hurdles. Patrick Maynard earned 26th, Cambree Hoekman 26th, Matthew Salmen 35th, and Jodyn Bawek 35th in the 300M hurdles. Our 4X100M boys (Nowell, Puffer, E. Salmen, T Salmen) and girls (Schneider, Bawek, Arthurs, Hoekman) teams earned 12th and 27th respectively. Our 4X400M boys and girls teams earned 22nd (Chasing Hawk, Decker, T Salmen, Enander) and 20th (Schroeder, Hoekman, Miles, E Johnson) respectively. Our 4X800M boys and girls teams earned 22nd (Tschetter, Decker, Van Sharrel, Wiebe) and 18th (Gilbert, Schneider, L Johnson, Bawek) respectively. Erik Salmen earned 10th in the shot put with Dalton Rathjen finishing 28th. Katelyn Schroeder ended tied with 10th in the High Jump. Landon Puffer earned 20th and Payton Chasing Hawk 36th in long jump. As well as Emma Schneider earned 13th, Emmerie Arthurs 24th, and Greeley LaBrie 36th in long jump. Brendan Nowell earned 13th and Riley Fliehe 14th in the triple jump. Greeley LaBrie tied for 24th and Jodyn Bawek ended 27th in triple jump.
