Menno Relays
It was our first outdoor meet last Thursday April 13. Our track athletes got their first taste of sun and wind this season. Even though many chose to get too much sun for their first time out in a while, including their head coach. We competed very well. There were 24 teams represented. Our boys ended up 7th overall and our girls ended up 19th overall. The athletes that made it in the top 8 are bolded below. It was a good day.
Our team relays:
4X100M for our boys was 5th place and girls 10th place
4X200M for our boys was 8th place and girls 20th place
4X400M for our boys was 4th place and girls 12th place
SMR 1600M for our boys was 15th and girls 16th place
Our individual events:
Triple Jump – Brendan Nowell got 7th, Riley Fliehe 9th, Greeley LaBrie 17th, and Patrick Maynard 23rd
Long Jump – Landon Puffer got 2nd, Payton Chasing Hawk 10th, Emma Schneider 14th, Emmerie 16th, and Greeley LaBrie 23rd
High Jump – Riley Fliehe got 9th
Discus – Erik Salmen 6th, Dalton Rathjen 24th, and Nick Tollefson 36th, and Rachel Huizenga 43rd
Shot Put – Erik Salmen 16th, Dalton Rathjen 25th, Mikael Nielson 53rd, Reganne Miles 45th, and Rachel Huizenga 49th
100M – Landon Puffer 11th, Emma Schneider got 7th
