Menno Relays

It was our first outdoor meet last Thursday April 13. Our track athletes got their first taste of sun and wind this season. Even though many chose to get too much sun for their first time out in a while, including their head coach. We competed very well. There were 24 teams represented. Our boys ended up 7^th overall and our girls ended up 19^th overall. The athletes that made it in the top 8 are bolded below. It was a good day.

Our team relays:

4X100M for our boys was 5^th place and girls 10^th place

4X200M for our boys was 8^th place and girls 20^th place

4X400M for our boys was 4^th place and girls 12^th place

SMR 1600M for our boys was 15^th and girls 16^th place

Our individual events:

Triple Jump – Brendan Nowell got 7^th, Riley Fliehe 9^th, Greeley LaBrie 17^th, and Patrick Maynard 23^rd

Long Jump – Landon Puffer got 2^nd, Payton Chasing Hawk 10^th, Emma Schneider 14^th, Emmerie 16^th, and                                      Greeley LaBrie 23^rd

High Jump – Riley Fliehe got 9^th

Discus – Erik Salmen 6^th, Dalton Rathjen 24^th, and Nick Tollefson 36^th, and Rachel Huizenga 43^rd

Shot Put – Erik Salmen 16^th, Dalton Rathjen 25^th, Mikael Nielson 53^rd, Reganne Miles 45^th, and Rachel Huizenga 49^th

100M – Landon Puffer 11^th, Emma Schneider got 7^th

400M – Payton Chasing Hawk 10^th, Logan LaBrie 17^th,Isabel Gilbert 21^st,Ella Johnson, 26^th,Avarie Estey31^st

800M – Mason Tschetter 15^th, Isaac Van Sharrel 17^th, Avery Miles 2^nd
