The Patriots Boys Basketball team came into the 281 Conference ranked 7th and we left the 281 Conference ranked 7th, so there was no record setting for that. But, during our win against Sunshine Bible Academy, one of our players, #4 Patrick Maynard made 8 three point shots and earned a school record. Two other players are listed as having made 6 three point shots in a game, but as I said #4 Patrick Maynard made 8. He ended up with 34 points total. Great job, Patrick!
For me as a coach a bunch of three point shots doesn't impress me, but all of these shots were within our offense; nothing forced. We had a number of players score and our bench came to play. #22 Preston Wipf came in off the bench, scored 10 points, and had 5 key rebounds. #15 Kaiden Weinreis had 6 rebounds, 3 steals, and 1 assist. #14 Deegan Moes had 3 points, 6 rebounds, 1 steal, 2 blocks, and 3 assists. #3 Devin Enander had 12 points, 4 rebounds, 3 assists, and 3 steals.
