The Lady Patriots hosted the Castlewood Warriors for their season opener on Thursday night and dropped the first match of the season in straight sets. Set scores were (17-25, 14-25, 19-25). The Patriots were led offensively by Katelyn Schroeder who went 38-40 with 18 kills. Madison Hofer chipped in with 5 Kills. Shandi Chasing Hawk led the Patriots with 2 aces. Defensively Schroeder had 1 solo block and 15 digs. Chasing Hawk orchestrated the offensive going 77-78 with 16 assists on the night. The Patriots will be back in action on Tuesday (8-31) as they travel to Redfield to take on the Pheasants. Game time is set for 5:00 p.m with the Jr. High, followed by JV and Varsity.
