Volleyball Drops road Match

The Lady Patriots traveled to Redfield on Tuesday night to take on the Pheasants. The Pheasants came out strong in the first set and beat the Patriots 12-25. The Patriots got things going in the second set, but still fell 20-25. The third set was all the Patriots as they won 25-14. The comeback came up short in the fourth set as the Pheasants put the match away with a 25-19 win and dropping the Patriots to 0-2 on the young season. Pacing the Patriots was Katelyn Schroeder with 13 kills. Ella Johnson, Madison Hofer, and Bethany Wiebe each chipped in 4 kills each. Shandi Chasing Hawk handed out 22 assists on the night. Pacing the defense was Hofer with 17 digs along with Schroeder and Brooklyn Frankenstein with 14 digs. The Patriots will be back in action on Thursday with a road trip to Huron to take on James Valley Christian. Game time is set for 5:00 with the Jr. High, followed by JV and Varsity.
