Volleyball Picks up First Win

The Lady Patriots traveled to JVC on Thursday night and picked up a 3-1 conference win and the first win of the season with the set scores of 25-21, 25-15, 20-25, 25-9. Leading the way for the Patriots was Katelyn Schroeder hitting 55-60 with 25 kills. Madison Hofer chipped in 8 kills. Shandi Chasing Hawk ended the night with 32 assists.  The Patriots controlled the serving line most of the night, with Bethany Wiebe going 22-23 with 2 aces along with Chasing Hawk having 3 aces. Defensively, Brooklyn Frankenstein led the team with 21 digs, followed by Hofer with 18. The Patriots (1-2) will be back in action on Tuesday (9/7) as they host the Faulkton Trojans. First serve is set for 6:30 p.m, followed by the varsity.
