The Patriots Football team lost another tough battle in Faulkton. The little things in life effect the big things. We don’t often have control over the score of a game, but we do have control over whether we do the little things in life and/or in football and those little things in life and/or football does impact the overall outcome. We will continue to work on doing the little things right. Our defensive leader for the game was Erik Salmen with 10 solo tackles, 1 forced fumble and recovered fumble leading to a touchdown, 1 interception to stop a 2 point conversion. Other defensive leaders: Kyle Hamilton and Landon Puffer with 9 solo tackles each, Jacob Michlitsch fought a battle in the trenches with 5 solo tackles and a sack. Our offensive leaders were Erik Salmen with 129 yards on 13 carries with one being an 88 yard touchdown run. Kyle Hamilton had a 60 yard run for a touchdown and TJ Salmen caught a 25 yard passed ball from Jack Boomsma for a total of 90 yard touchdown. Jack Boomsma ran for two 2 point conversions and threw one to Landon Puffer. We are looking forward to Estelline Hendricks Friday night for our Homecoming game.
