The Patriots homecoming football game was an expected victory. We tried to mix it up on the field during the game. At times our starters played, other times all of the seniors were on the field at the same time and our younger players got to see the field as well. Our defense was lead by #3 Jack Boomsma with 2 interceptions returned for touchdowns. #34 Elliott Harford had 7 total tackles, Cole Schroeder and TJ Salmen each had 3 solo tackles. #45 Erik Salmen had a fumble recovery for a touchdown and #32 Zach Gilbert had an interception, which led to our last touchdown. Our offense was lead by #3 Jack Boomsma with 2 rushing touchdowns and the game ended on a 20 yard pass from #12 Mason Bottum to #40 Cole Schroeder. #30 Kyle Hamilton lead our special teams with 2 punt returns for touchdowns. Estelline-Hendricks were not playing with all of their starters; we truly appreciate their willingness to come and play us on our homecoming during a rough time in their season. We appreciate all of the support from our fans, especially the support of all of our parents this week during homecoming with all of the special treats. We look forward to another home game in Tulare this coming week against Britton-Hecla at 7PM. Go Patriots!
