The Patriots held tough in all three sets on Thursday night, but could not overcome errors in the match to beat the Rustlers. The Rustlers took advantage of the errors the Patriots made and put the host school away by identical set scores in all three sets; 25-20.
Katelyn Schroeder recorded a double double with 15 kills and 18 digs to lead the Patriots. Madison Hofer chipped in 6 kills and 13 digs. Brooklyn Frankenstein had a great night in the back row and came up with 16 digs. Shandi Chasing Hawk recorded 25 assists in the loss.
The Patriots (9-13) will get a little time to re-group. They will travel to the "Tiger Den," to take on the Ipswich Tigers next Thursday (10-14). First serve is set for 4:30 p.m with the 7th grade game, with 8th grade to follow at 5:15 p.m. JV and Varsity will follow with about a 6:30 p.m start.
