The Battle In The Great Plains

 The Patriots Football team played a tough senior heavy football team in Great Plains Lutheran school on Friday night. The Patriots were out of sync with a handful of players out or in different positions, but were never out of control in this game. We were lead by our Defensive End, TJ Salmen with 6 solo tackles, Landon Puffer with three interceptions in the end zone and 5 solo tackles, and Jackson  Maynard with 3 solo tackles, 1 sack and a forced fumble and recovery. Offensively, we were lead by Cole Schroeder with one 45 yard rushing touchdown and one 80 yard receiving touchdown and 1 two point conversion. Erik Salmen with 141 yards of rushing and two touchdowns. Kyle Hamilton had a 65 yard run for a touchdown and 1 two point conversion. Landon Puffer had a 30 yard reception for a touchdown and Zach Gilbert had a 15 yard touchdown reception. We finish our regular season on October 15 at 7PM in Avon, as we face the number one team in 9B. We are looking forward to the challenge. We appreciate all of the support we continue to receive.
