The Patriots dropped to 10-14 on the year as the ladies got swept by Sanborn Central-Woonsocket 3-0 in high school volleyball action on Tuesday night.

In the first set, the Patriots led most of the first set and could not close out set one as they came up short 23-25.

In sets two and three it was all the Blackhawks as the Patriots had a hard time stopping the attack of the Blackhawks and playing consistent volleyball. The visitors would ultimately take set two 25-13 and set three 25-15.

The Patriots were led with a double-double from Katelyn Schroeder with 10 kills and 19 digs. Shandi Chasing Hawk also had a double-double on the night as she recorded 21 assists and 11 digs. Bethany Wiebe, Ella Johnson, and Madison Hofer each chipped in with 4 kills apiece.  Defensively, Brooklyn Frankenstein recorded 9 digs for the Patriots.

The Patriots will be back in action for a rare Friday match, as they wind the season down, by traveling out to Onida to take on the Sully Buttes Chargers.  First serve is set for 6:30 p.m with the JV, followed by the Varsity.
