The Patriots come out quick against the Spartans, up 12-2 to start the game. A 7 point run by the Spartans to close out the 1st quarter closes the gap, 16-13. The Patriots unable to continue the momentum in the 2nd, only scoring 6 points. By the end of the 3rd quarter, H-T is within 4, 41-37. But the Patriots foul troubles and the Spartans capitalizing on made free throws, give the Patriots their first loss of the season, 62-50.
Leading scorer for the Patriots was Jackson Maynard with 20 points. Zach Gilbert finished with 15, followed by TJ Salmen with 10.
