The Hitchcock-Tulare Patriots use a big 1st quarter lead 21-8 to secure their 2nd win against JVC this season. The Vikings fought back in the 2nd to make the score 39-32 but the 1st quarter lead proved too much for the Vikings as the Patriots secure a 281 Conference win, 68-61.
The Patriots were led by TJ Salmen with 18 points, 17 rebounds, 2 steals, and 1 block. Kyle Hamilton and Jackson Maynard both finished with 12 points. Jack Boomsma added 10 points, 7 rebounds, and 3 assists. Erik Salmen provided another lift off the bench with 9 points. Zach Gilbert rounded out the scoring with 7 points, 4 rebounds, and 2 assists.
The Patriots are now 6-6 on the season. They travel to Sunshine Bible on Friday to play another conference game.
