The Redfield Pheasants came into Tulare on Tuesday night and dominated the Patriots. In the first set, the Pheasants jumped out to a 13-0 lead as the Patriots were not able to get anything going with their passing, serving, and hitting. The Pheasants would take the first set 5-25. 

In the second set, the Patriots would dig themselves into another hole and could not recover. The Pheasants would take set two 13-25.

In set three, the Patriots hung with the Pheasants until about half way through the set. After Coach Opp call his final time out, Redfield would go on another run and ultimately put the Patriots away in the third set 20-25, and winning the match 3-0. 

Isabel Gilbert paced the Patriots with 5 kills and 2 solo blocks. Rebecca Huizenga and Lila Johnson would add 4 kills each. 

Lila Johnson would record 9 assists in the contest, followed by Presley Binger with 4

Defensively, Cambree Hoekman would record 10 digs. 

The Patriots will be back in action Thursday night (9/1), as they open up the conference season as they host the James Valley Vikings in Hitchcock. Matches will begin with the JH at 5:15.
