Even In The Heat Of The Day No One Can Stop The Patriots

The Patriots came out on top. It was a battle all game long. I know my players are already tired of hearing it from me that we did enough to win, but it is still not good enough. We did not have a good week of practice and  I take full responsibility for that as the head coach. We have to improve on the little things. It is the little things that make up the big things. We have a lot to improve on if that tells you anything. With that being said, our first drive set the tone for the game 15 plays in almost five minutes ending with a nine yard touchdown run by #54 Riley Fliehe. Sophomore #65 Nick Tollefson played the entire game taking on Iroquois/Lake Preston's senior leader #55 Jonah Denison 6'1" 250lbs. He did a great job for us. Teammates must step-up in adverse situations and he did that in this game. #18 TJ Salmen had a great game offensively and defensively with two touchdown receptions on offense and 4 sacks on defense. In a broken play #22 Carter Binger on the edge of crossing the line of scrimmage threw a short pass to #54 Riley Fliehe ending in a 94 yard pass reception for a touchdown. This breaks the current record held by Jack Boomsma to TJ Salmen vs Faulkton last year with a 90 yard touchdown pass reception. Records are made to be broken. Stats are below. #GoPatriotNation
