Hitchcock-Tulare School District 56-6

The Patriots came out on top in Waverly. It was never in doubt. We played well against a struggling program. Our goal was to not play to our opponents level, but to our own and block how we know how to block. Without full review of the film I am confident we made improvements this game with our blocking and not playing to our opponent. Defensively, our front three worked their tells off with a relentless pursuit of Waverly's QB: TJ Salmen, Jackson Maynard, Jacob Michlitsch, and Nick Tollefson continued to battle all game long. We had 4 interceptions with a TD and 1 safety. A great defensive game. Our offense did well with five rushing touchdowns and 3 passing touch downs. We still have plenty to clean up and improve upon, but it is great to see continued improvement and fight in the Patriots. Stats are below. We look forward to Avon next Friday afternoon.
