The Lady Patriots picked up a three set win on Tuesday night in Sunshine Bible Academy. The first set was all Patriots, as they jumped out to a huge lead, as they led 11-2 when Sunshine Bible called their final time out of the set. They would continue to build the lead and win 25-11.
The second set was a little closer as the ladies were trying to work on some different things. The Patriots had a substantial lead throughout the set, as that allowed some other players to step in and get a taste of a varsity match. The team had a few more errors in the set, which allowed the set to be closer. The ladies won set two 25-16.
The third set was identical to the first, as the team jumped out to a 7-0 lead behind a Presley Binger serving run. This once again allowed the team to sub in some other players. The Patriots would go on to win the set 25-15, and and sweep the match 3-0.
Leading the Patriots was Rebecca Huizenga with 9 kills. Isabel Gilbert and Ella Johnson each tallied 6 kills. Binger and Gracyn Bixler tallied 14 and 13 assists orchestrating the offense. Serving was huge for the Patriots, as they tallied 17 aces in the match. Leading the way was Ella Johnson going 19-20 with 7 aces to lead the way. Isabel Gilbert was also 6-7 with 3 aces. Defensively, Brooklyn Frankenstein tallied 7 digs in the contest, along Ella Johnson with 6.
