The Patriots defeated the Potter County Battlers at the Big Bo Classic in Wolsey on Thursday afternoon with a score of 69-28. The Patriots used a balance attack on offense and pressure defense on the Battlers all game. H-T was up 22-7 in the 1st quarter after Carter Binger hit a deep 3 at the buzzer! Then the Patriots used a 17-6 run to begin the 2nd quarter to take a big advantage. At half, the score was 45-20. The Patriots used a 18-3 advantage in the 3rd quarter to lead 63-23.

The Patriots finished with 5 players in double figures. Carter Binger led the way with a double double with 12 points, 11 rebounds, 2 steals, and 1 assist. Cole Schroeder also had 12 points, 3 rebounds, 2 steals, and 2 assists. Erik Salmen finished with 11 points, 2 rebounds, and 1 steal. TJ Salmen had 10 points, 9 rebounds, 2 steals, and 1 block. Jackson Maynard also had 10 points, 4 rebounds, and 1 steal. Brendan Nowell finished with 6 points, 4 rebounds, 2 assists, and 3 steals.
